Choice Chart

Previous Weekly Plans

Dear parents,

Each week, on this page, you will find a 'choice chart', or plan of activities for 'at home' learning.

Please remember we are each facing different circumstances at this time, (illness, loss of income, working from home, toddlers, multiple children learning remotely etc..). For this reason, my plans will not work for everyone. They will be here each week for you to use in the way that works for your situation.

These activities will be posted as 'choices' and you should proceed with as much or as little as you can ~ free of guilt.

Try to set aside a routine time each day for your child to do some school work. On days that this is not manageable, please don't worry, the activities are simply here for moments where 'at home' learning is possible. Many of the activities are meant to be independent for your child. You can read the task to them and they can proceed on their own. At other times, you can open the Learning Resources page for your child and they can navigate the learning sites independently.  I will continue to post a morning message and/or story time each school day.

I am here to provide you support, answer questions, add enrichment when requested, and continue to connect with the children. Please stay in touch and share when you can. I am right here to cheer you on, celebrate your child's learning, listen to your frustrations, be a sounding board for your rants and most importantly continue to care for and nurture your children in any way I possibly can.

Please use the Keep in Touch page to reach out whenever you need anything! Please let me know if you would like a phone call. I am happy to talk or face-time with you or your child to explain an activity or just have a chat. This would be MY PLEASURE!

Take care everyone and please stay home.

What supplies will I need for at home learning?

We are commencing at home learning on April 14th.

By this date, you will have collected your child's belongings from the school.

Included in the pack-up are work books that we will use within our lessons for the week.

Please try to have the following supplies accessible to your child:

  • Computer, tablet or iPad

  • Green Duo-tang

  • Blue Duo-tang

  • Purple Duo-tang

  • Orange Duo-tang

  • Journal (half lined half blank notebook with a blue cover)

  • Sketch Book (I have made each child a sketch book that will be used in upcoming lessons)

Other supplies that would be helpful include a pencil, scissors, glue stick, crayons and yellow marker or highlighter.

THANK YOU!
